HTC has finally revealed HTC One, its most important device of in 2013. Earlier there had been so many rumors and speculations about this product but finally everything is clear now. The company claims to have developed HTC One with marvelous features and can challenge many advanced features of Apple’s iPhone.
HTC One: 4.7 inch display and Ultra Pixel sensor
Don’t know how it came out to be but the developers of HTC One seem enough confident that they have developed a winner model.
HTC has really done great job when it comes to One’s design. It feels amazing in hand. One has a typical solid body with 4.7 inches display along with its tapered unibody aluminum frame. There are more pixels packed together to give it a more continuous and solid look.
This flagship model has a very nice 8MP rear camera but there is no physical shutter button there. There are two softkeys in HTC One- one for the home button and another for the back button as according to them generally people do not use other recent apps button very often.
However, despite of these minor omissions HTC has really proved its time and effort in One. It has a very impressive Super LCD3 panel with 1080p resolution. Also, the screen is well protected with Corning Gorilla Glass.
The company has implemented new Ultrapixel sensor in its 8MP camera. The pictures captured by One seemed promising. There are so many features like stereo sound recording, simultaneous HD video recording, geo-tagging, smile detection, face detection, video stabilization etc. Also, it spots LED flash with autofocus feature. There is one secondary camera too to serve live chat and other purposes.
It has left Retina display of iPhone5 behind with its pixel density crown. It packs more than 2 million pixels that yields 468 pixel per inch(ppi). With the Zoe feature of HTC One’s camera, users can take three-second video clips and can share them with family and friends. HTC says that this Zoe feature was in development long before the Twitter hit the scene.
This premium HTC smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 600 chipset, quad-core processor with a processing speed of 1.7GHz. It has 2GB RAM and internal storage of 32GB or 64GB (your choice). For UI there is Android 4.1.2 jelly bean that’s new HTC Sense user interface. Most of the space on the home screen is dedicated to its BlinkFeed feature, that acts like livestream of images, newsfeeds, articles, social updates etc.
BlinkFeed was designed by HTC to minimize the hurdles between people and content(devouring content).
Overall, HTC has really worked hard along with smartness and innovation to make its device the premium one but we will get to know about its success after it comes to the market. Let us see how effectively it can fight with the most popular iPhone5 and Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S4.
